If we do reduce class sizes to 15-16 students in grades K, 1, and 2, (and we allow teachers to have autonomy over their classrooms – which means not too much testing and RTI screening) we will see great improvements.

RtI2…. And glad to see you taking the initiative. The critical idea behind RTI is to think about BOTH instruction and intervention…additionally we need to understand what it means to “respond” to instruction or intervention. To look at how students respond to either of these means real reflection about our instruction. Looking forward to hearing more.
