A friend of mine sent this job along and I wanted to post it for any interested teachers out there who are interested in looking for a new job in Elementary Education.

This seems as good of a time as any to put out an alert that if any schools out there have teaching positions available to please send them on to me so I can either republish them or tweet out the links!

Elementary Teaching Position
Position:
Bodine School seeks a highly qualified candidate for an elementary teaching position. This
individual will be responsible for presenting a hands-on, student-centered curriculum, to include
a specialized, multi-sensory approach to language arts instruction. A qualifying candidate should
be progressive in their approaches towards instruction and a life-long learner.

Requirements:
• Minimum of a bachelors degree in the field of education or cognitive / communication
sciences.
• Experience in independent school teaching is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with students with dyslexia or other learning disabilities is preferred
but not required.

Bodine School:
Bodine School is an independent, college-prep school specializing in educating students with
dyslexia and related language-based learning disabilities. The coed school, for students in grades
1-8, provides an inclusive community committed to fostering the intellect and character of its
students.

Students are engaged in highly specialized instruction led by specifically trained staff, and spend
the majority of an average school day in small group or individualized sessions. Bodine offers
research-based remediation for reading, writing, and language development, with most students
transitioning to a variety of public and independent schools in three to four years.
